Threatened species research and monitoring

Threatened species research and monitoring

The ability to provide high quality ecological advice and services is intrinsically dependent upon the availability of data and information regarding the biology and ecology of the target species or community. We recognise not only the importance of keeping our finger on the pulse of ecological research, but of being able to interrogate and actively contribute to this body of knowledge. Our staff have published a number of articles in the peer-reviewed ecological literature, and continue to do so. We also maintain connections with an extensive network of researchers and scientists at various universities and government agencies, a number of whom we’ve collaborated with on project work, publications or both.

Services relating to ecological research and monitoring that we specialise in include:

  • Targeted species surveys
  • Experimental and survey design
  • Population monitoring and ecological research
  • Ecological conceptual models
  • Statistical analysis and modelling
  • Comprehensive literature reviews
  • Peer-reviewed publication of findings
